Trade Prince Steamwheedle, one of the goblin trade princes, is the richest known goblin on Azeroth, and runs the shipping division of the Trade Coalition practically on his own.[1]

Allegedly, he has been surpassed as richest goblin on Azeroth by Trade Prince Gallywix. [2]

Though, Gallywix's riches were quickly lost in his shipwreck.

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

The name "Steamwheedle" hints that he runs the Steamwheedle Cartel, but this is not specifically confirmed. Marin Noggenfogger, the Baron of Gadgetzan, seems to have enough authority to ally the Cartel exclusively with the Horde or Alliance, whatever that may mean.

It is implied that the Steamwheedle Cartel was the group of goblins that originally sided with the Horde (or at least was at a point in the past considered the most viable replacement for that group). Currently the Horde is trying to improve relations with the cartel in order to get them to join the Horde.[3] If so, then the Trade Prince would most likely have been Steamwheedle.

Perhaps he is the goblin tinker Ratso Steamwheedle, or they are related.
