The Explorer Title and Tabard
the Explorer is a title awarded for completing World Explorer, where you must completely explore all of the world maps for all continents in the game (Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Outland, and Northrend).
The title comes after the player's name, in the following format:
Players will receive the [Tabard of the Explorer] in the mail upon completing the exploration of Northrend, independent of the World Explorer achievement.
The achievement is possible without Cold Weather Flying, however it's more difficult. Players of appropriate level can get a "loaner" mount from "Honest" Max at K3 in the Storm Peaks, but it is only usable in specific Northrend areas. Additionally, players may also be teleported to locations via various methods (such as a warlock's [Ritual of Summoning]), and/or benefit from multi-player mounts.
