The League of Arathor was originally established by the survivors of the Kingdom of Stromgarde to reclaim the Arathi Highlands from the hands of the Forsaken Defilers in Hammerfall. Today it is an organization in support of the Alliance, based out of the Arathi Basin in Refuge Pointe. They have taken it upon themselves to help supply the Alliance forces where needed, and their members include all manner of Alliance races - even though they are still predominantly Stromgardian humans.
Reputation
Players can earn reputation in this faction by participating in the Arathi Basin Battleground. When you fight in Arathi Basin you earn 10 reputation each 200 resources. On Arathi Basin holiday weekends the required resources is reduced to 150.
Rewards
- Players that have exalted with League of Arathor, Silverwing Sentinels and Stormpike Guard receive the title of Justicar.
- As of the patch 2.01, rewards no longer require specific reputation levels.
- The currency, [Arathi Basin Marks of Honor], for rewards are earned through participation in the Arathi Basin Battleground. A win for your side yields three marks, while a loss yields only one.
- Upon reaching exalted faction status with The League of Arathor, Field Marshal Onslight (located at Refuge Pointe in Arathi Highlands) will offer players a quest called "Control Five Bases". Upon completion of this quest (5 bases have to be capped, not just assaulted), you are rewarded with the "[Arathor Battle Tabard]".
