Scourge of Lordaeron TCG

The Scourge of Lordaeron TCG card, with Arthas, Jaina and Uther.

The Scourge of Lordaeron is the name of the Human Campaign in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.

King Terenas had sent his son, Prince Arthas, to help his mentor Uther the Lightbringer to confront the Blackrock orcs, who planned to attack Strahnbrad to slaughter the villagers in the name of their demon lords. Weeks later, Arthas, along with Jaina and Captain Falric, went to investigate the plague, where they encountered several undead and the necromancer Kel'Thuzad, who managed to kill him but before telling him about his lord Mal'Ganis, who leads this plague. After witnessing the villagers being turned into undead by the grain. Arthas would go to Stratholme to destroy Mal'Ganis only to discover that the villagers had already consumed the infected grain that would turn them into undead so he and his soldiers made a slaughter that Jaina and Uther refused to participate in, then Mal'Ganis promised to meet him in Northrend.

After arriving in Northrend with his soldiers they met Muradin and his dwarves who joined him, after his soldiers almost left on the orders of the king at Uther's request, Arthas and Muradin went to find the Frostmourne to destroy Mal'Ganis although this caused Muradin's death. With the sword, Arthas went to Mal'Ganis and killed him and then fled to the frozen north where he would be tormented by the voice of Ner'zhul that would drive him to madness. Months later, he would return to Lordaeron and kill his father Terenas and unleash the Scourge on the Capital City.
