The Thundercaller

The Thundercaller in port at Tirisfal Glades.

The Thundercaller Orgrimmar

At Orgrimmar.

The Thundercaller is a zeppelin with a goblin crew and Forsaken guards and runs between a tower outside Orgrimmar in Durotar and a tower outside of Brill in the Tirisfal Glades.

The crew is constantly making repairs to the craft. According to them, under the command of Sky-Captain Cloudkicker and the control of Navigator Fairweather, the zeppelin has crashed repeatedly in a wide array of zones.

Battle for Azeroth This section concerns content related to Battle for Azeroth.

After the Battle for Lordaeron the Thundercaller was removed from service as it caught fire just one too many times. It was replaced by portals to and from Orgrimmar.[1]

Notes[]

  • Due to its various NPC interactions The Thundercaller is by far the most complex flying zeppelin of all the ones in-game.
  • If you count the many ways they have crashed, you will find out that it has been 18 times... so far, including:
    • Three times into forests.
    • Four times into oceans.
    • Once into Teldrassil.
    • Once in the Shimmering Flats after managing to snake through the Thousand Needles.
    • Five times into mountains.
    • Four times into four different lakes, including Lordamere Lake.
  • The crewmen tell you that the airship has squeezed through Thunder Bluff twice now! Why they were even going in that direction is unknown.
