The
Veiled Sea is the name of the vast
sea that lies to the northwest of
Kalimdor, mostly noted by travelers on the coasts of
Teldrassil,
Darkshore,
Ashenvale,
Desolace,
Feralas, and
Silithus. It is the location of the
night elven homeland and the group of islands known as the
Azuremyst Isles — where the
draenei inter-planar vessel named
The Exodar recently crash-landed. It is possible that the Veiled Sea "merges" with the
Forbidding Sea.
