Thick Hide gives a bonus to armor in all forms to the Druid. Thick hide also gives an additional bonus to the Druid while he/she is in Bear form. It is very useful for soloing at lower levels, and necessary for tanking later on.
/Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now also reduced chance to be crittically hit by 2/4/6%. In addition, Thick Hide also increases armor while in Bear form by an additional 11/22/33%.
