Thieving Plainshawks are brown hawks found flying above and around Francis's small sheep corral. The corral is found just south of Thunderfoot Ranch in the Valley of the Four Winds, and the hawks can be found all the way to the Yan-Zhe River.

They can be found flying low in the fields or even perched on grassy hills; the most troublesome are those that circle over the sheep, diving down to pick them up in their claws.
