Tideress^{[48, 69]}

is a corrupted water elemental found in Mystral Lake in Ashenvale.

Prior to the Cataclysm, Mastok Wrilehiss was concerned about the corruption of Mystral Lake, and was interested in the water globe that Tideress dropped. During the Horde attack upon Silverwind Refuge later, that information proved invaluable as the Horde used their knowledge of the elementals to control them for their own use, including Tideress. That control slipped soon thereafter, and the elementals are once again a threat to both factions.
