Tier 2 is a type of item set. Each set consist of 8 pieces. As of Patch 3.2.2, the head for each set is unobtainable, as Onyxia was updated for level 80s and drops new class-specific heads.
Sets
Location
The items that form those sets are found in the Molten Core, in Onyxia's Lair and in the Blackwing Lair. For details, refer to the set page.
Most pieces drop from various bosses in the Blackwing Lair,
- the bracers of each set drop from Razorgore the Untamed,
- the belt of each set drops from Vaelastrasz the Corrupt,
- the boots of each set drop from Broodlord Lashlayer,
- the gloves of each set drop from Firemaw, Flamegor and Ebonroc,
- the shoulders of each set drop from Chromaggus,
- the chestpiece of each set drops from Nefarian,
- the headpiece of each set used to drop from Onyxia but since she was revamped and retuned for level 80, the helms now drop from Nefarian along with the chestpieces.
but:
- the pants of each set drop from Ragnaros in the Molten Core
