Tiger Lilies grow next to lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water in the Northrend zones of Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, Grizzly Hills, and Sholazar Basin. They may also appear in Frozen Herb spawns in the Dragonblight, Zul'Drak, and Wintergrasp. As of Patch 3.1, an herbalism skill of 375 is required to pick it.

The model's size increased significantly in Patch 3.3.3; it is now about as tall as a human or elf and very hard to miss.
