Patchwerk has been slain time and again, but his grotesque form continually rises, enabling him to return from death again and again. He stands amidst the ruins of the Construct Quarter of Naxxramas, waiting for explorers and champions to come and amuse him.
Abilities
Phase One Abilities
- Hateful Strike — A rapid and powerful melee strike performed on Patchwerk's primary target, dealing extra damage.
- Rampage — Patchwerk will launch a flurry of attacks, randomly striking any targets within melee range. Channeled spell. Lasts for 3 seconds.
- Cannibalize — Patchwerk will attempt to devour one of the many corpses strewn around his chamber. If he succeeds, he will regain a large amount of health. 8 second casting time. Corpses being cannibalized will become targetable and can be destroyed. Destryoing a corpse will prevent Patchwerk from regaining health.
- Frenzy — When Patchwerk's health reaches 5%, he gains 40% attack speed and 25% damage to all his abilities.
During Phase Two, Patchwerk will adopt one of the three following attack styles, gained by eating one of the boss corpses in his chamber. He will use these abilities for the remainder of the fight.
Grobbulus Abilities
- Slime Breath — Patchwerk vomits a stream of slime in a cone in front of him, creating a river of poison that damages anyone who walks across it. Deals nature damage every second for 5 seconds. Trail of slime deals periodic nature damage.
- Poison Cloud — Patchwerk releases clouds of poisonous gas every 10 seconds which damage anything that stands in them. Best not to think about where they're coming from, really... Deals nature damage every second to all targets standing in it. Does not affect Patchwerk.
Gluth Abilities

- Decimate — Reduces the health of all nearby foes to 5% of their maximum health. 3 second casting time. Affects all targets within 15 yards.
Thaddius Abilities
- Lightning Field — Periodically deals nature damage to all nearby enemies with lightning.
- Polarity Shift — Inflicts two random targets with Positive Charge. All other players will be afflicted with Negative Charge. If the Charges are not removed within 5 seconds of being applied, they will detonate and inflict massive lightning damage on all players. Positively Charged players must move within 5 yards of each other to remove the charges.
