Tom Chilton/"Kalganism" Controversy

"Kalganism" Controversy
Patch 2.3 changed healing reduction abilities to also affect all health draining abilities, explained in the patch notes as meaning the Warrior ability Mortal Strike now affected healing done by Warlock ability Drain Life.[1]
Around this time Chilton made a post on his forum identity Kalgan stating "I'm quite sure the pvp warrior I have will still be rockin' a s3 weapon within the first week despite this change [to Weapon Mastery]."[2]
Several anti-Kalgan posts were made until a Blizzard representative threatened banning if the spamming of said posts continued.[3] Another forum moderator explained the deletions by pointing out that complaints about Blizzard as a company would be appropriate in the General rather than Warlock forums and that this should not include singling out particular Blizzard employees.[4]
Chilton made a forum reply in acknowledgment of the accusations of bias in a thread that began as an obvious joke post concerning the McRib sandwich being overpowered: "We're aware of the issue and have changes planned for the next major update. Clearly, the McWarrior is underpowered." Serious replies by Kalgan followed later in the thread, both pointing out that he plays many classes and giving some explanation to the change to the drain mechanic.[5]
