Torjar's Bane is a very old mistlurker found within the Lair of the Beast^{[21.6, 73]}

, a cave deep within the Torjari Pit of the Valley of the Four Winds. During ancient times the locals used to sacrifice the uncouth to the beast.

Hemet Nesingwary Jr., in an attempt to one-up his father, attempts to summon the beast in order to slay it. Instead, it mind controls him causing Hemet Nesingwary Jr. to to jump into the deep lake and eventually end up in its lair. His father follows and, with the help of players, saves his son.
