Turak Runetotem is first encountered by Horde players as a druid trainer located on Elder Rise in the tauren city of Thunder Bluff. He is later encountered by both factions within the Molten Front, leading a charge up into the Forlorn Spire^{[68, 69]}

, ultimately using his magic to destroy the structure. At this time he is friendly to the Alliance as well.

He is possibly related to Hamuul Runetotem.
