The Twin Colossals are a pair of high vertical mountains, rising up on the west side of Feralas. The road from Feralas to Desolace runs between these 2 mountains. (Some individuals conjecture that these are the stumps of what were once trees that have since eroded and become indiscernible from the surrounding rock and dirt)

They are one of the most striking landmarks of the area and inspire awe in whoever beholds them.

At the base of the Western Colossal, there is a High Elf female, Marli Wishrunner, who gives you the opportunity to visit the top of the Eastern Colossal. She also informs players that they will have to find their own way down. Accepting to be brought up will result in a teleport to the top of the mountain.

At the top there is a good view of the surrounding area, a small lake where one can fish (one wonders how this is possible), and a High Elf male, Kalin Windflight, who sells parachutes to leave the mountain for 20 silvers each.

The pair are apparently in on a kind of scam, for to get down, one needs the parachute. The tricky part is that the parachute is temporary, so if a player opens it too fast, it will be "gone" before one reaches the ground... resulting in a speedy demise. First-time visitors often open the parachute at the beginning of the jump and as a result fall to their doom somewhere halfway. It is suspected that the pair then proceeds to loot these unfortunate souls.

A Mage is of course not required to buy the parachute, as they can use Slow Fall to get down. A Priest can use Spell holy layonhands [Levitate] to the same effect

The Western Colossal is not accessible.
