Two-Handed Weapon Specialization is a Warrior |Talent that increases the damage dealt with two-handed melee weapons.

Overview

The untrained might think that in melee combat, the bigger the weapon, the better, but this is only true to a point. Over a certain size, the weapon starts to become more of a hindrance than a help, becoming difficult to maneuver in tight quarters, and becoming extremely heavy as well.

This extra weight can be useful, of course, helping the warrior deliver frightening amounts of force into an enemy's body, but requires much greater physical ability, situational awareness, and dexterity, to prevent the two-handed weapon being more dangerous to the wielder than the target.

Notes

More damage is always useful to the Warrior, especially those who favour the larger weapons, where 5% can be a significant proportion of the enemy's hit points.

It's worth noting that this talent effect stacks with the other weapon-specific specialization effects; Mace Specialization, Sword Specialization and Poleaxe Specialization, provided the weapon is a two-handed version.

DPS Berserkers should instead look for Dual Wield Specialization, in the Fury tree, and Protection Tanks should instead consider Shield Specialization and One-Handed Weapon Specialization, both in the Protection tree.

Note: Despite being called a 'Specialization', a Warrior may buy as many of these talents as he has points for.
