Two-handed Fury
From WoWWiki
Overview
- Two-handed fury is a versatile Warrior talent spec. It was never very common and has since become less so since the release of The Burning Crusade and the normalization of rage in Patch 2.0.1
- The core of the fury tree for any typical DW warrior is Death Wish, Bloodthirst and Flurry, and is the same for this type.
- The warrior would invest points in the Fury talent tree such as improved cleave and improved slam. This is intended in order to skip DW talents since those are negligible.
- Quite self-explanatory, but in it's hey-day the Warrior would use a good two-handed weapon such as The Untamed Blade or even possibly Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood for this spec in order to fully utilize it.
- The appeal of two-handed fury pre BC mainly lay with well geared warriors as there was an amount of attack power where it was believed that Blood Thirst would outperform Mortal Strike with even a slow two handed weapon due to the mechanics of the attacks. As a PvP build two handed fury had the option to use Death Wish and Improved Intercept as these were talents that were unavailable to Arms warriors (Now often known as Mortal Strike Warriors perhaps due to the reluctance of many to go further than MS into the arms tree) before the release of The Burning Crusade.
