This article or section contains lore taken from the Warcraft manga or comics.

Tyrygosa is one of the few remaining members of the Blue Dragonflight and suitor to Kalecgos. When taking a guise of her own, she has refused to take the form of a human (she finds elves more aesthetically pleasing) and does not seem to meddle in the affairs of humans. Her alias is Tyri, possibly either a nickname given to her by Kalec or a name she goes by when in disguise.

Kalecgos was sent by Malygos to Lordaeron on a mission for the blue flight. Worried about her future mate, Tyrygosa followed, arriving just in time to rescue Kalecgos from the undead scourge. They were joined by the human paladin Jorad Mace and a strange young woman by the name of Anveena Teague. The four journeyed together for a while, their exploits eventualy leading them to the land of Quel'thalas where after being assaulted by the traitor Dar'Khan Drathir and an enslaved Korialstrasz they discovered Anveena was the new avatar of the Sunwell. With the assistance of Sylvannas Windrunner Dar'khan was defeated and Anveena was left in the care of Lor'themar Theron and Halduron Brightwing. Kalecgos, having sworn to look after her, remained in Quel'thalas as Anveena's guardian. Tyrygosa departed, along with Jorad Mace, after wishing her beloved farewell.

In World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade This section concerns content exclusive to The Burning Crusade.

Tyrygosa, in the disguise of Tyri, can currently be seen in Celestial Ridge in Netherstorm in the Burning Crusade, along with Jorad Mace. She is involved in the investigation of nether dragons in the area. After asking adventurers to assist her by defeating the dominant Netherdragon in the area, Veraku, she plans to take control of the brood and keep them safe and in check.

Note: Nexus-Prince Shaffar has a Cobalt Band of Tyrigosa in his loot table. The ring bears the description: "This ring was empowered by the princess of the blue dragonflight." This could mean that she is the daughter of Malygos himself, or she could simply be a high-ranking member of the flight.

She starts the following quests:

Burning Crusade Manga

Tyri, along with Jorad Mace, is set to appear in the upcoming Burning Crusade Manga, Dragons of Outland.

Wrath of the Lich King

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King This section concerns content exclusive to Wrath of the Lich King.

According to the lore panel at BlizzCon 2007, Tyrygosa returned to the Nexus with the nether drakes she had taken control of in Outland, where their Nether-warped physiology began to affect the Spell-Weaver himself. This effect helped Malygos to regain some of his lost sanity. As he recovered, the Spell-Weaver began to realize that magic use had run rampant across the world, mortals recklessly practicing their arts. He believes that this reckless spellcasting is what led to the War of the Ancients ten thousand years earlier, and the mortal mages could attract the Legion to Azeroth again - and because of that, they must be stopped. As a result, Malygos has declared war on all mortal spellcasters, but most especially the Kirin Tor of Dalaran. Dalaran itself is being relocated to Northrend, not only to direct the war effort against the Lich King but also against Malygos' crusade. The Red Dragonflight - keeping the promise made to Rhonin in Day of the Dragon - will aid the mortals in their battle against their erstwhile comrades.

It is unknown what part Tyri will play in Malygos' war.
