Unicorn

The unicorn is a type of horse-like creature living on Azeroth. Unlike horses they have a horn growing out of their head. A white unicorn was the symbol of the high elves of Quel'Thalas and it could be found on the sails of their elven destroyers. Archmagi brandish magical blades and ancient staves mounted atop their trusty unicorn steeds.^{W3Man 8}. The most commonly seen unicorn species is the Zhevra which can be found in Barrens. Demonically corrupted unicorns are called hornsaw unicorns. Unicorns and celestial charger unicorns can be summoned by druids as nature's allies. The item the Band of the Unicorn is a reference to this creature.

Chargers wear armor that resembles a unicorn.

Species of unicorn found in the Barrens.

The basic unicorn species, usually white. Can be summoned by druids as a nature's ally.^{WoWRPG 345}

• Hornsaw Unicorn

While the burning legion is not directly responsible for the terrible change done to these formerly peaceful unicorns, it is quite possible the taint they left behind altered these savage creatures.^{MoM 194}

• Celestial Charger Unicorn

Celestial charger unicorns are large species of Unicorn. They can be summoned by druids as allies.^{WoWRPG 345} It's likely that they serve Celestials as mounts (hence the name).

Trivia

The traditional unicorn also has a billy-goat beard, a lion's tail, and cloven hooves.
