Tips and Tactics
Edit
Two talent points well-spent in any deep-arms build. Overpower is one of the most effective moves in a warrior's arsenal, and combined with Taste for Blood and Glyph of Overpower, Overpower will be up often enough to make use of the lowered cooldown. When landing an Overpower on a player who is casting, reduces their magical damage and healing by 25/50% for 6 sec.
This talent, at two ranks, does not actually reduce the cooldown of Overpower by 4 seconds. Instead, the Global Cooldown of any other ability following Overpower is cut down to 1 second, while Overpower itself is on a 1.5 second recharge. To maximize damage, you should keep aware that Overpower will cause a syncopation of sorts in your rotation, allowing you to start the next ability in your rotation half a second sooner.
The ability also causes a curious synergy with Revenge. Revenge is enabled for several seconds after a successful block, parry, or dodge. With rank 2 of this talent, you can repeatedly spam it until it is disabled. When tanking as Arms while leveling, use this to your advantage.
