The Uplands are a region in the northern Alterac Mountains. The area was the bread basket of the Kingdom of Alterac, but after the destruction of the core of that nation, the Uplands fell under the control of the Syndicate. They remain under their control to this day.

This is a good place for Herbalists. There are nodes of Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar's Whisker and Wintersbite, which is only found in the center region of the Alterac Mountains.
