It seems strange that the range of levels for which you can still get XP (there needs to be a term for this) should increase so slowly between levels 10 and 40; it seems as if there would be a great deal of "catching up" to do after that if it is to reach its maximum size of 12 by the time a character is level 60. As a level 60 Warlock who is often hard-pressed to find a source of Soul Shards, however, I can confirm that the Grey Level for a 60th-level character is 47 (i.e. you can get Shards from anything 48+; the "Shard band" is 12 levels wide by then). At any rate, I will continue to monitor this as I play different characters. -- Gemminie 14:18, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)

This is a significant XP gain for non-level-capped players. I cannot find information on this anywhere. Questions like whether exploration experience is gained based on player level, zone level (range?) or some equation. At level 81 I received between 4k and 7k for each sub-zone of Uldum.
