Tinkwistler was always fascinated by magic and technology. It's no surprise since her father was an tinker, while her mother was a mage. While trying to create a new grenade, her hand was blown off. So, she attached a robotic hand that she can replace with a phlogiston powered gun. She uses a phlogiston powered staff. One day she went to menethril harbor and saw an advertisement for the Gnomish Navy. She joined quickly due to the fact she'd get to use her inventions without being called the crazy woman.
