Akairos is a blood elf paladin of the Guild <DPS> on Scilla-US. He holds the role of co-tank for <DPS> along with Quiter and Unholyraven.

Personality

Akairos and his co-tanks believe in equality amongst themselves, choosing to resolve issues of gear by taking turns on the drops and maintaining the healthy mindset that all tanks needed for a fight are important and as such, none of them hold the unofficial role of "main-tank." Akairos enjoys helping his guildmates and running heroic isntances, when he isn't doing any of those things, he can be found in a wide variety of places with his "track low level quest" function on, working on his loremaster.

Raiding History

Akairos origionaly started as a Troll mage on Cho'gall Horde in 2005, reaching Instructor Razuvious and clearing plague wing to Loatheb and all of spider wing. After his guild disbanded on patchwerk he leveled a Dwarf paladin on Arthas-US to 60 and tried to tank, after having limited success in tanking MC and Ony, Akairos swapped to an undead Warlock on Bloodscalp-US named Ergos in the months before BC hit when patch 2.0 went live. After getting Ergos to 70 and having limited success at arena in the guild <We Don't Raid> he joined <Eminence> finding ample raiding success, reaching M'uru in Sunwell Plateau till his guild disbanded after months of failiure. It was during the period of Black Temple which Akairos the paladin came into being. Originally a female blood elf named Almara, Akairos was doomed to exist as a healing twink at level 29. After a month of twink action and witnessing a particular powerful prot paladin named Slake he decided that he wanted a level 70 prot paladin. Unwilling to level another paladin to 29, Akairos level Almara to 70, achieving moderate raiding success with pug runs of Kara, SSC, TK, and Mt. Hyjal. When patch 3.0 hit live servers, Akairos swapped fully to his paladin, achieving success raiding Sunwell to (once again) M'uru and then eventually Kil'jaeden. When wrath of the lich king went live, Akairos leveled his paladin to 80 to immediately begin raiding Naxx 25 and 10 man and changed into a belf male as soon as the re-customization service became available.

Eventually, lag became to much of an issue, as the Cyclone Battlegroup was on rented Dell servers, when free transfers opened up, <Eminence> transferred the majority of its players to Scilla-US, reforming under the name of <Battlelust>, then merging with another guild to form <Inconceivable>, fully clearing Naxxramas 25m, then blowing into Ulduar 25m. After the members of the merger guild all decided to quit, the guild was reduced to 10man size. After killing yogg10m and drama, Akaiors left <Inconceivable> to join <DPS>. Quickly proving his worth, Akairos became the go-to guy for tanking. Akairos maintained his position and skills into Trial of the Crusader, Trial of the Grand Crusader, and now Icecrown citadel, where he stands at 11/12 Hardmodes.
