Biography

Arenik Shadestalker was born in Ashenvale, to Ansidiel, a druid of the Cenarion Circle, and Kaylin, a member of the Sentinels. He grew up with great understanding of how to defend himself in combat, due to his mother's rigorous training, whilst having an intricate knowledge of nature, from his father. Combining the two gave him prowess that allowed him to take his place amongst his people, as a warden. Training under the guidance of Maiev Shadowsong herself, he learned techniques that caused fear amongst fugitives. For many years he aided the forests of Ashenvale and Felwood, fighting against the Burning Legion and the orcs, for the survival of the forest. For many years his mission was unhindered. However, during his normal patrol route around northern Felwood, he chanced upon a dwarf from the explorer's league. This particular dwarf had little knowledge of the dangers that lay there and managed to become a captive of the Jadefire Satyr. Knowing that these Satyr had been taking many of the travelers who were making their way to Mount Hyjal or Winterspring captive, he took action slaying all of the Satyr and saving the dwarfs life in the process. The dwarf, grateful for the assistance, offered Arenik a chance to travel with him to the Eastern Kingdoms. After consulting many of the other wardens they agreed that it may prove useful to have an ambassador to the Eastern Kingdoms. So he left from Auberdine with the dwarf, for a new world.
