Isenkoff is a former member of the original Dark Hand Covenant, back when it was a demonic cult led by Mauron Alnamis. His combat skills lacked so he was often delegated certain administrative duties, such as timekeeping and records. He documented and tracked the various rituals performed by the cult and kept a record of every act performed and every location visited.

After Dalan and Krall sparked a revolt within the cult, Isenkoff was among the several members put into a mystical hibernation by the aftereffects of the magical battle between Banisher and Embron. After the sleepers were salvaged by the Forsaken and taken to Deathknell, he awakened and took up residence in the small village.

The location of his record books are unknown, but they supposedly contain valuable information that would greatly aid in Dalan and Krall's current efforts in undoing what The Dark Hand Covenant had done in the past. If they were to obtain Isenkoff's records, they would know exactly what demonic rituals were performed and where, and how to undo them.

Isenkoff to this day still resides in Deathknell, often aiding newly awakened Forsaken and aiding in the suppression of zombies and Scarlet Crusade converts.
