Background

Lucentia Whiteheart grew up in Stormwind with her best friend Lucimara Renhold, under the tutelage of her father, Alistair Whiteheart, a prestigious Paladin of the Silver Hand and a noble of the Stormwind Cathedral. At a young age, her father took her on a pilgrimage through the lands of Stormwind, passing through Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Stranglethorn Vale, Duskwood, and the Redridge Mountains. This short journey showed her the ways of the [Holy Light] and confirmed her future career in her father's footsteps as a Paladin in the Holy Order. After returning from their pilgrimage, Lucentia began her training while her father crossed the seas to continue his mission on Kalimdor.

When Lucentia reached her late teens, she took her Alistair's place sooner than expected when he met an untimely death in battle. While tracking the traitorous rogue Krall across Dustwallow and Ashenvale, he was killed while trying to apprehend him. Lucimara's father, Adelbert Renhold, a fellow Paladin in the Order, took vengeance by killing Krall, disfiguring his face with his hammer in the process. After the incident, Adelbert retired and took a position as a noble in Stormwind Keep, and Lucentia began her final training to become a full-fledged Paladin.
