Gar'Frondel was one of the mightiest and most ancient of the Titans, a race of powerful beings. Among Gar'Frondel's accomplishments are supposedly: igniting the Second War for Armageddon so as to spare the lives of ten thousand Draenei, igniting the Gaz'ruk Scouring, the Ba'Gong Annihilation and the Third Coming of Uldum, as well as warning the human races of Medivh's treachery. The veracity of these accomplishments are often debated, as they are usually derived from works by dwarves and found in Uldum, which admitedly strays into the realm of paranoia, and the rantings of a tortured people. It should also be noted that, of these battles, only the Second War for Armageddon is ever described in detail.
Gar'Frondel is thought to have perished during the Burning Legion's campaign on Draenor, when he was caught upon Tempest Keep. As he attempted to commune with and stop the corrupted spirit of the Keep, his very own soul is believed to have been dragged screaming into the depths of its core. The fortress later vanished into the Warp. The current whereabouts of Gar'Frondel, or rather his soul, are unknown, though it is speculated that he has been taken by and held on Draenei by demonic forces, and now suffers unearthly torments in the Zangarmarsh. Whether or not he can be rescued, or if he has actually been captured at all, is unknown.
The Burning Crusade
Gar'Frondel has reportedly been sighted in-game as early as the alpha. Imprisoned and tortured by the Burning Legion since their invasion of Draenor, he is now abandoned and free as the Burning Legion fled from the advancing alliance forces. Gar'Frondel roams the Zangarmarsh and is a world boss.
