Chopperbob
Personality
Robert is a cunning, manipulative and womanizing bastard. He tends to care very little or nothing for those around him. He'll kill, manipulate or befriend anyone or anything to get what he wants. He is known to be extremely secretive, making it near impossible to know him entirely, you may think you know him but you only know a portion. He is known to set out very brutal punishments for those who tend to fuck him over or betray him. He demands respect from everyone, even though he may not show it in return.
Appearance
Tall with a thick and solid build. Muscles upon muscles were present all over the man's body. Thick, rock hard arms, along with a solid torso and well-toned legs. His head was an average size for his body and was supported by broad shoulders. His hair was pitch black and was tied back into a long foxtail. His strong chin was covered by a well-groomed beard. Upon closer inspection bears a quite noticeable scar from the top of the left side of his forehead coming down next to his eye midway down his left cheek. The man also burdened an assortment of tattoos, including a band around his upper right arm, and a few others that were hidden by clothing.
Usually he would be seen in a large suit of thick plate equipment with a large sword sheathed on his back and an assortment of smaller weapons concealed within his armor. His armor was a dark color and was quite obviously battle worn; many small notches and scratches were visible all over the equipment. He had a few hidden contraptions in his battle gear, including a glider and a set of rocket propelled nitro boosts hidden within his boots.
He usually wears two rings, a golden ring molded into the shape of a skull with circular ruby eyes socketed in it, and ... ... ...
History
Early Life
Robert was born in Westfall and remained there for the first few years of his life, at the young age of four he was brought to Booty Bay with his family due to suspicion coming down upon his father's crime organization. From the time he was around five years old he was exposed to a lot of crime and violence, his father would often come home with bad wounds, blood caked clothing, or sometimes simply rat-assed drunk. Robert lived like this for a short amount of time, at the age of six he watched a rival crime lord massacre both his mother and father. He thought little of it, his parents had never really done much for him anyways. The next couple of years were rough for Robert, he lived mainly from stealing and begging for money on the streets. He was often beaten by those he attempted to steal from, this made him tough and hardened, he began to care very little about anyone else, which resulted in an assortment of more serious crimes, he would often mug richer children and by the time he was eleven he became affiliated with a small street gang. The gang consisted of about ten teenage kids. The leader of the gang was only seventeen years old and Robert was one of the youngest in the gang, though he showed potential, even from the young age of ten. Robert soon became a well-respected gang member, but his glory was short lived due to the disapearance of many the gang's leaders, leaving the gang without leadership, which didn't go far.
Fight Club
Shortly after the gang had disbanded, Robert joined a Junior Fight Club to make money. He lost most of his matches due to his lack of training; he fought three matches every night and usually lost at least two or three of them, but would occasionally win one. His lack of training held him back greatly, he attempted to train himself but that did not get him far. He had nearly given up until one night he encountered a strange man after his show, it was quite hard to make out the man's appearance in the dark night, and he informed Robert that there was hidden potential within him if he was willing to learn that he would train him in the arts of a warrior. Robert was quick to accept the offer and followed the man back to his home. The man was named Eric Bancroft; he had a wife and two young children living with him at his house. His house looked middle-class by Booty Bay standards and an assortment of old weapons decorated the walls of his house, with the light of the house it was much easier to make out Eric's appearance, he was tall and lean with visible muscles all over his body. His face was just beginning to show signs of aging, insisting his age to be early to mid-thirties; his hair was long, brown and tied back into a ponytail. Eric trained Robert endlessly, every day for hours on end they trained. Eric showed Robert many new ways to attack and to defend himself; he showed him the proper fighting stance, the proper defense stance and many unarmed attacks. Robert began to win his fights quite easily, his opponents faltered in his presence, by the age of thirteen he had become the champion of the Junior Fight Club, this began to roll in the dough, and the girls would tend to be all over him for a title like that.
Growing to a Weapon
Several years of training had past, and Eric had decided it would be time for Robert to train in the arts of a weapon. Robert had small amounts of experience with makeshift weapons such as shanks or fist weapons from his days in the gang, but not much other than that. Eric granted Robert one of his old greatswords, it was worn and well-used, but it would do. Eric brought home old target dummies for Robert to practice on. Sword Sparring was quite common between Eric and Robert. It was not long before Robert had become an expert swordsman; by the time he had reached the age of sixteen he had become a very worthy opponent to Eric. It was decided that it was time for Robert to acquire his own weapon, the old great sword would not last him much longer, so he gathered up all the gold he had earned from his fights at Fight Club and bought himself a new claymore, it was a beautiful sword, a long, thin blade sitting upon a thick handle wrapped in red leather for grip. Eric and Robert went out on an expedition to go fight jungle trolls in the Forests of Stranglethorn. They set off in the morning and returned that night with nothing more than blood on their blades.
Life as a Chef
At the age of seventeen, Robert's fight club shut down due to lack of regular attendants. Robert needed a new source of money, so he decided to take up the profession of cooking and proved himself quite talented. It was not long before Robert had himself a full-time job working as a chef at the local bar. Robert's specialty was meats; he loved experimenting in all different kinds of meat dishes. He swiftly rose to fame as the 'Fastest Meat Chopper in Booty Bay,' or for short, Chopperbob. The nickname of Chopperbob became quite commonly used for Robert. He quite liked the nickname; it suited him well. It was not long before Robert had worked his way to the top-chef of the entire bar. People loved to watch his incredibly fast chopping skills as he prepared their meal. It became more of a tourist attraction than anything else; it also made him decent pay, considering he was the main source of the restaurant’s business. He loved the job, it got him money, publicity, and best of all, girls. Robert had quite a few short-term relationships over his childhood, but his first steady relationship he had was with a girl named Natalie Hastings, she was simply beautiful. Long, light brown hair framing a cute face with amazing violet eyes and a fantastic body, too. They had been seeing eachother for around five months when Robert was kidnapped by a crew of goblin pirates who took him to be the chef of their ship. What neither Robert, nor Natalie knew was that Natalie was pregnant.
A Pirate's Life For Me
Robert was forced to cook food all day, and at night he was instructed to swab the decks. He was quite lucky to get a few hours of sleep every night before the goblins began to yell, shout, and sing. The goblin's called their ship 'The Buttplug Delight' and they were often at battle with other ships, Robert was nearly injured several times in the crossfire. He lived this life for several months before the ship was raided and plundered for all of it's treasure, most or all of the goblin pirates were slain and buried at sea. Luckily for Robert, his life was spared, he was taken captive to the other ship and was tested on his skills, they found him quite worthy of being a pirate, he swore loyalty to their crew in exchange for his life. Robert had simply told them that his name was Chopperbob, the pirates knew too little of the outside world to argue, so it was simply left at that. Robert found that a pirate's life was a life full of adventure. Nearly every day they were sinking a ship or plundering some booty. The life was fantastic, and it was not long before he had worked his way up from the bottom of the food chain, he had become an overseer in just over two years, by that time Robert had himself a fine, young pirate lass. Her name was Sasha Plankwind, and she was quite the fierce fighter, she may've even been giving Robert a run for his money. Robert was around twenty-one at this time, and he had just learned that he had a child on the way.
Another year had passed, and Robert had his own child now, it was a girl, they had given her the name Kailah, because it was one of the only names that they could both agree on. The ship was still the fiercest in all the land. Until one day a ship by the name of 'The Scurvy McButtsauce' had come to sail the seas, the ship was full of gay pirates, who were somehow very strong and such. Robert's ship had sunk, he managed to grab a few bags of gold, a few pieces of jewellery, and his daughter. He then stole one of the only life boats, and sailed away. Nearly all of his fellow pirates had gone down with the ship, but he managed to sail away unnoticed and save himself. He was stranded out in Stranglethorn without a single idea of how to find his way home, and all he had was a few bags of gold, a few pieces of jewelry, a cutlass, and Ashley. He set out in search or some help, or possibly a path...
Natalie
Meanwhile, Natalie had not forgotten about Robert, she still longed for the day of his return. Their child was about three years old now, it was a boy and his name was Alasten. Natalie and Alasten hadn't been too bad off, Natalie's parents were somewhat wealthy by Booty Bay standards. However, they were very, very disappointed in their daughter and did not make it easy for her, not by any stretch.
It's a Long Road Home
Robert walked for miles with Kailah in his bags, who was very tiny and no older than a couple of monthes. He then came across a troll encampment, one of the trolls spotted him and called for help, Robert managed to kill the one troll, but by then about ten more had come, they tied him up and put him in a big cauldron of water, they soon after put the cauldron over the fire and it began to heat up, Robert had no doubt in his mind that they planned to eat him, once he had been secured in the cauldron, they only left one troll to watch over him. Once the water had began to heat up, the ropes they had tied him with had loosened, which allowed him to break free of his bonds. He jumped out of the boiling cauldron and began to fight the troll who had been watching over him, he beat him unconscious and tossed him into the cauldron. Robert grabbed his belongings (Along with Kailah who had been sleeping inside the bag) and as he was leaving, he spotted an interesting-looking egg, so he grabbed it and took off, he managed to escape the encampment quite easily, and from there he set off to find some shelter for the night, he found a relatively safe looking cave, so Robert, Kailah, and the egg spent the night there.
The next morning he woke early due to Kailah's crying and set out for Booty Bay, it took about an hour before he had finally found a path, the signs said that Booty Bay wasn't too far, so Robert began to slowly walk the path. While treading down the path, he ran in to an old man named Jonnyfred Pigglesworth. Jonnyfred offered Robert a large sum of gold in exchange for a favor, he asked only that Robert slay a naga for him, Robert was in no mood for more problems, so he simply decapitated the old man, took Jonnyfred's money and resumed his journey. By nightfall he had arrived in Booty Bay, the first thing he did was search for Eric's house, it took him a little longer than it used to, but he found it. He knocked on Eric's door and Eric was very happy to see Robert back and alive. Robert began telling Eric the entire story of the last three years. It was quite astonishing for Eric that Robert had lived through it all. Robert rested at Eric's house for a few days and then set off. Robert left Kailah behind with Eric, he asked that she be trained the same as he had, he left Eric most the gold and jewellery he had taken from the pirates as a token of thanks for all of his guidance over the years and as a payment to help with raising Kailah, he took only a small handful of gold pieces and a ring as a memory of his old life. He asked Eric to please tell Natalie that he was dead, because she was simply better off to think so. Robert then set off for a new life.
Dead and Gone
The next morning Robert woke up bright and early and caught the first boat to Rachet, Robert often fished off the side of the boat while they sailed to pass the time, soon enough they have arrived in Rachet. In Rachet, the first thing Robert did was take an old mask from his bag, put it on, and then head down to the general store. Robert robbed the general store of much of it's goods, including food, some clothes, a shortsword, and most importantly money. Robert managed to outrun the guards in Rachet and took shelter in a house in which looked to have no occupants, but he was wrong, a lone orc woman was there, he tried his best to stay out of sight of her, but apparently failed, the orc woman was not mad, however, she simply brought him to the bedroom, Robert and her had a fantastic night together. The next morning, he replenished his supplies, and left the house before the woman had awakened.
Robert walked alone for many days through the Barrens, sleeping in whatever kind of old hut or house he could find. Occassionally even under the odd boulder. He was beginning to get low on supplies when he had reached an odd elevator. He rode down it to see a small signpost welcoming them to the Thousand Needles, it looked like nothing more than more barren land to them, but they couldn't go back now, so they kept onwards through the Thousand Needles. Traveling through the Thousand Needles was not too much of a challenge, there weren't many threats besides the odd hyena. Robert was nearly out of supplies when he had finally reached what seemed to be a raceway. Robert took up residence at the inn for the night and got his first good sleep in weeks. In the morning he began to explore the raceway, Robert took great interest in the vehicles and races, perhaps he could get in to something like this, he thought. Even though a human racer would be quite odd, and very rare.
Robert sought out someone who may be able to assist him in learning the art of engineering, so he began asking around, he was instructed to visit an old gnome named Doozle Sparkwrench, he was said to be a master of engineering and if anyone was able to teach him, it would be Doozle. It took Robert a couple of hours asking around for directions, but it wasn't hard finding Doozle's house at the relatively small raceway. Doozle told Robert that he would gladly train him - for the right price. Robert was a bit short on money, but he was clever and knew exactly how he would earn the money he needed. Robert woke bright and early and went down to the daily drag races at the raceway, he sought out to find the shady crowd around the place. Robert had no trouble finding them, he placed a bet of all of his gold on the gnomish racers for tomorrow's drag races. That night, Robert went down to the goblin racer's garage, snuck in and sabotaged their machine. The next morning Robert had made a comfortable profit, since nearly everyone else had bet against the gnomes. Robert continued to do this, but only occassionally, in attempt to keep himself undiscovered. He had soon earned himself quite the tidy fortune, and in the mean time, his egg had hatched into a baby raptor, it was very cute, yet he knew the dangers of raptors quite well, and was smart enough to go out and buy a cage for it. Robert then returned to Doozle to pay his fees for training.
Racing and Engineering
Doozle and Robert began training shortly after, Doozle was very knowledgeable about engineering, he taught Robert everything he knew about it from the very basics of how to make a few copper bolts to how to make paracutes, grenades, rockets, and most importantly racing machines. Doozle trained Robert for long hours each day, and it took him over a year and a half to teach Robert everything he needed to know. During his free time during the training Robert would often go down to the local bar or watch the races, he had made a few friends down there, aswell as a collection of girlfriends, being the 'honest' person that he was, of course. By the time Robert had finished his training, Robert had another child on the way, Doozle assisted Robert in building his first racing machine, it was quite difficult to build, but was done soon enough. Robert was one of Doozle's youngest students ever, being only twenty-three years of age, yet, he was still one of the most gifted in engineering.
Robert's racing machine did quite well, he had hired a gnome racer to drive it in the races for him, it won several drag races and placed second in the monthly tournament. Unfortunately, Robert's glory was cut short by an angry gambler who had bet on him and lost, the gambler threw a small explosive at Robert's machine and it was badly ruined, likely beyond repair. Robert took the liberty of granting the gambler a swift execution for his atrocious deeds against the machine. Robert rigged a few more races, made a decent amount of gold and in secret, decided he set off to new places. One of the people Robert had met, a goblin named Zelran Goldair owned a small zeplin, he agreed to take Robert to the Eastern Kingdoms for a fee, Robert accepted the offer, even though it was nearly all of his money, and they were to begin flight the next day. Robert and Zelran secretly took off, leaving Robert's pregnant girlfriend behind. The fee Zelran charged was quite expensive, and Robert didn't care for Zelran all that much. When the zeplin was nearing shore, Robert put a knife through Zelran's neck and tossed him overboard, Robert took control of the zeplin but did not have much of an idea of what he was doing, he managed to get the zeplin to land and then he lost control of it, the zeplin wiped out at Iceflow Lake in Dun Morogh. Fortunately, Robert managed to parachute off with his baby raptor just before it hit the ground and they were safe from any damage. Unfortunately, the zeplin hit a group of dwarves.
The Dwarven Fisherman?
Robert went over to check the crash, the first thing that should be noted is he hit an entire group of dwarven fisherman, around twenty or so were there, but there was only one who was still alive. Robert took whatever he could from the crashed zeplin for supplies, he then picked up the only remaining living dwarf, who was very heavy, he then slowly scurried off into the mountains, he set up camp in an abandoned cave and slept the night, after a few days the dwarf had woken up, he had absolutely no memory of anything, so Robert took advantage of the situation and began to to give the dwarf false information, he told him that his name was Keefer Molen, because it sounded funky. The dwarf was told that he was a war veteran and given a small sum of gold that Robert had taken from the goblin's stash on the zeplin, the dwarf was convinced that he was a noble warrior, when in reality, Robert wasn't sure if Keefer had any skills in fighting at all, but he possibly could have. After about a week of living in a cave with an insane dwarf, Robert took Keefer Molen back to Ironforge, and then the two of them took the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind, and when they arrived there, Robert made up a convincing story, being quite the talker himself, and he got Keefer a job as a Stormwind guard. Robert then left, laughing all the way. He clearly knew that Keefer's job would not last long, due to his mental insanity.
Meat Choppin' All The Way to Outland
Robert set out in search of a job, and luckily, he found a job as a butcher at a small, but popular shop in Stormwind. Robert's skills payed off well with this job, he made decent pay, and it wasn't too much work for himself. Robert and the store owner had a bit of a lustful relationship, and would often play around, or sleep together after work, despite the fact that she was quite a bit older than him, being around her early to mid fourties, and she was married. This little side-action just might've given Robert a bit of an advantage over the other employees. Aside from his full-time job as a butcher, Robert often did small bits of criminal work on the side, such as selling narcotics and the occasional mugging. Often in his time off, Robert would either train his battle skills, or hang around the taverns, either socializing or simply looking for a woman to spend the night with. Robert lead this life style for around two and a half years, until he was roughly the age of twenty-six ... SOMETHING BOUT OUTLANDS TO BE CONTINUED.
