The Story
Chapter One: Spark of the War
The War was kickstarted with a kidnapping of Highlord Tristam Galahand by the Theramore deserters. Being held hostage in Lost Point, the Regiment of Theramore sent out men to rescue him, mysteriously accompanied by a Stormwind Knight. Nevertheless, with the help of the Knight, they successfully destroyed the Outpost and brought the Highlord back to his Citadel without as much as a scratch.
The Highlord asked to his rescuers to meet him in the Citadel for rewarding. Arriving late, Melkorius strode into the Citadel and in line with the soldiers. Looking up to Tristam, the Knight said his name. Melkorius Galahand. Tristam's son that he left to an uncertain fate long ago. Melkorius drew his sword and tried to kill the Highlord, only to lose his life shortly after, by Tristam plunging [Galardell] into Melkorius' chest in self-defence.
Chapter Two: Rise of a Knight
A couple of weeks later, with everything in Theramore at it's best, news reached the Citadel of an approaching Death Knight. Moments later, Melkorius, clad in black, runic plate with a Runeblade in hand, strode into the Citadel. Managing to sieze Galardell from Tristam's grasp, Melkorius used it to successfully kill Tristam. Now with Galardell in hand, he took his rightful position as Highlord of Theramore.
Chapter Three: A Dark Age
Jaina enshrouded her tower in a violet dome, like Dalaran's old one. Many citizens fled to Stormwind, along with the Regiment. There, Admiral Sorel and Adjutant Tesoran sought out Valifar Galahand, Tristam's other, youngest son - a Knight of the Order of the Sword. Upon finding him, many men of Theramore found hope again, and most returned to the city with Valifar, who they believed could kill his brother and save Theramore. Upon return in Theramore, they were all astomished at what they saw. Ghouls, Abominations, Necromancers and corpses littered to ruined streets. Towers had collapsed. Walls were entwined with black ivy. The fog was thick. And it had the smell of Lordaeron - a stench of undeath.
As soon as reinforcements from Stormwind came a week later, they fell in line and led a full siege on the city. Peering out her window, Jaina noticed the successful conflict on her streets, and unshrouded her dome, spilling out her mages to aid them in battle. Upon Theramore's forces making their way into the Citadel, Jaina and a few soldiers confronted Melkorius. Jaina sent a frost bolt his way, killing him almost instantly. He fell to the ground, dying, but his body vanished in a dark flash of shadow after.
Chapter Four: Revival of Melkorius
When Melkorius was dying, he cursed Admiral Kyelv Sorel, causing him to forget all of his Admiralty. He remembered himself only as a Knight of the Argent Dawn in Lordaeron. From death, Melkorius whispered to the Argent-Captain Sorel, speaking of himself as a Knight who fought with him once in Darrowshire. Kyelv believed this, and thinking it an action of the light, he and some men went out to Melkorius' grave and brought him back to life. Melkorius just laughed and kill the Dawnists, leaving Kyelv alive, and rode off on his Deathcharger. Kyelv now remembered everything. Melkorius returned to Theramore, backed up with an army of thousands. A battle broke out, but as Melkorius was overwhelmed in battle, his forces lost confidence and fled from him, leaving him to die there. Instead, Tristam knocked him out, and brought him into the Citadel.
Chapter Five: End of the War
When he awoke, a Priestess named Elosai Sorel stood infront of him. She tried to cure him with her blessed powers in the light. Giving up after an hour's long session, Melkorius just laughed and broke free, and walked onto the battlements of the city. The Priestess followed him, and stopped him as he tried to throw himself off the battlements to his death. He refused to accept this as an act of emotion, which Death Knights do not feel. But then he cried, and could do nothing but accept that he had been cured. Falling in love with the Priestess, the next day, they both disappeared. This marked the end of the War of Theramore.
