Intro
Well, I'm an Irish gamer, big into Xbox(Gamer Tag Crimnor). I used to play WoW, level 70 rogue Angreal on the Shadowsong Europe server, but quit after about two years of playing. Reasons?
- Summer had just begun.
- I loved PvP so much, but in my wisdom, I started on a PvE server.
- My arena partner was also quitting.
- Just a note, both our accounts were hacked about three days before we quit. It may have been my fault...
- Promise of a new game Darkfall which only came out about two months ago. It is nowhere near finished.
So yeah, I've decided to join WoWWiki because I love the lore of Warcraft, and I've played all of the games. Except Lord of the Clans which I really, really wished had come out.
Starting WoW again
Some friends and I decided to start up a ten man raid guild. I don't know what server we're starting up on, but it will be a PvP server. Without a doubt. I'll be starting a Priest because, well, I love healing, and all I did with my rogue was DPS. I first played a twink Priest, lvl 19 in Battlegrounds, and that was the most fun I've had while playing WoW.
I always enjoying leveling for some reason. Having said that, I was a very slow leveler. That was because I never grinded, I just went where I wanted, and did quests that I thought were fun. this time however, might be different. With this new Triple Experience Buff I say I'd be 60 in a matter of days. Getting to 70 might take a while, based on how long it took last time, and I've never played to lvl 80. But sure, it'll be fun.
Our raid guild;
- Is unnamed right now.
- Will consist of ten players. All of us from Cork in Ireland.
- Will raid three times weekly. Days and times are as of now, unset.
- We've delegated certain classes to people to maximise efficiency.
- However, we don't force anyone to play a class they don't like. We're all friends here.
- Intends to start on Naxxramas.
- Many of us are unfamiliar with our classes, others haven't played in some time (I fall into both these categories) and the rest have never played WoW before.
- After that, I don't know. We'll just move onto harder instances when we get what we need from our raids.
- Hopefully, under my guidance(since my guild prefer PvE) an arena team and/or Battleground team will be created. Afterall, PvP is so much fun

I just love PvP so much. Battlegrounds are a bit tame for my liking. It feels very staged, but its the best I've got. I get the biggest thrill from attacking enemy villages or towns. Players flock to them when they hear its under attack. This usually leads to actually battles between the
lliance and the
orde, such as small skirmishes around The Barrens. Its sweet.
Eh, what can I say. They are enjoyable, but you don't feel like you've accomplished much. They feel staged, and superfluous. But I still do them. They can be quite fun at times. Especially in Arathi Basin if its played tactfully and not zerged.
My first experience of the Arena was awesome. It was a a two-person team, me and my friend. We called it I'm with the Gnome. Just went into arenas really when I was lvl 70. I had so much fun in them! Hopefully I'll be able to replicate that with my new guild.
This was alright not great, but maybe thats because I was on a PvE server. Starting on a PvP server will probably mean I'll be World PvPing a lot more.
City Raids
All time favourite is leading a raid against enemy capitals and trying to kill the city leader. Attacking Thunder Bluff or Orgrimmar are the best. There are so many tactical postions to be taken up, ways to get around and people. (Not so much in Thunder Bluff.) And now from what I've read, there seem to be achievements in killing them. So, gathering players will be a lot easier.

Other Gaming Experience
Hmm, well, other MMOs I've played are Darkfall, Everquest and Guild Wars. Not for a long time though. I play a lot of Xbox Live though. Competetive games are;
- Halo
- Halo:Combat Evolved
- Halo 2
- Halo 3
- Halo Wars
- Call of Duty
- Rainbow 6: Vegas 2
Also, one of my all time favourite games are Adventure games, like Monkey Island Series, Sam and Max, Full Throttle or Maniac Mansion. They really make you tihnk outside of the box when playing games, and enable you to solve problems differently. I recommend them to everybody.
Life?
Let's see, I'm 18, living in Ireland, Cork, Carrigaline will be going to college in UCC, hopefully doing Computer Science. I love music, reading, playing video games and speaking Irish, well, languages in general. I don't know why, but fantasy/medieval settings in anything have always appealed to me. Be it Warcraft, Age of Empires, Elder Scrolls, I just love them.
Well, thats all for now.
