This is my amazing idea for an expansion involving the much-awaited Emerald Dream expansion. I was going to include Four Wheels of Fury mounts, but I figured that there are no trucks in World of Warcraft.
The Emerald Dream is slowly being corrupted by a mysterious force known as the Emerald Nightmare. Two races have been forced to choose sides during this crisis: the Barkskin Furbolg have aligned themselves with the Alliance. A large faction of Satyrs, known as the Uprisers for their clash with the greater Satyr race, have joined the Horde.
New Alliance race: Furbolg
The Barkskin Furbolg, known allies of the Night Elves, joined the Alliance in the fight against the Burning Legion. Hearing of the Emerald Nightmare, they joined the Alliance to help combat it.
Classes: Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, Druid and Warlock
Starting Area: Hyjal
Power of the Wild: Gives +15% Nature damage to the Furbolg's attacks for 10 seconds. 2 min cooldown.
New Horde race: Satyr Uprisers
The Satyr Uprisers are a large Satyr faction, having rebelled against the greater race and the Burning Legion. They had been forced to become Satyr, unlike the rest. They have allied with the Horde out of convienience: although they claim to work against the Emerald Nightmare, many believe they are trying to spread it.
Classes: Warrior, Hunter, Paladin (for some Satyr still use the Light, like their former Night Elf selves), Druid, Rogue and Warlock
Starting Area: Fel'dorei Isle (island off the east coast of the Eastern Kindoms, close to the Ghostlands)
Demon fury: the Satyr goes into a frenzy, increasing attack speed by 20% but lowering attack poer by 2% with each successful hit. Lasts 10 sec, 3 min cooldown.
Dark Affinity: Gives the Satyr bonus damage for Shadow powers (similiar to Arcane affinity).
Hero class: BeastmasterEdit
The Beastmaster is essentially a Hunter, without the focus on ranged weapons. They actually have two pets rather than one. They cannot even use a ranged weapon, but they use Artifacts (essentially attribute-raising items) instead in the Relic slot. There is an emphasis on duel-wielding or two-handed weapons (depending on how you spend your points in the Combat talent tree). They have multiple abilities that let pets gain aggro or the Beastmaster itself lose aggro. Their main "next melee attack" ability (like the Warrior's Heroic Strike or the Hunter's Raptor Strike), Silent Strike, both adds extra melee damage and drops aggro. Also, both pets can be taught Cower and Growl, so if one begins to lose health, Cower and have the other pet Growl. They also have pet-specific heealing spells (mostly HoT).
-Can use Cloth and Leather armor, 1H swords, maces and axes, 2H swords, maces and axes and staves.
-Talent trees are Combat (sustained damage-dealing abilities), Beast Mastery (focus on pets, similar to the Hunter Tree) and Silencing (burst DPS).
-The Beastmaster is essentially a combination of the Hunter and Rogue.
-Important attributes to the Beastmaster are Agility, Stamina and Strength.
-In addition to heals, they also have pet-specific buffs.
-Important starting gear for the Beastmaster:
- Due to preference, choice of Beast's Quickblades (2 1H Swords, combined stats: 220 DPS, +52 Agility) or Beast's Greatsword (1 2H Sword, 220 DPS, +26 Agility, +26 Stamina).
- Cloak of the Beast's Fury: Back. 140 Armor, +30 Agility, +30 Stamina, +100 Attack Power.
-Beastmaster Pets are not as good as Hunter pets, since they do get 2. They each have about 75% of the base stats of a Hunter pet, and the Beastmaster itself is not nearly as effective with one or no pets.
-Notable BM spells:
- -Silent Strike: 120 mana (highest rank), Instant. Does normal melee damage plus X, and drops threat. 2 sec cooldown.
- -Tame Beast: same as the Hunter ability.
- -Mend Pet: same as Hunter.
- -Pet Heal: Unlike Mend Pet, Pet Heal heals immediately. 300 mana (highest rank), 1.5 sec cast. Heals your pet immediately fo X health.
- -Deadly Strike: 400 mana (highest rank), Next melee attack. Deals 250% weapon damage.
