High Elven Druid/Ranger and Warrior
Nick'Thalas Dawnspring is a High Elf and was part of the 10% of High Elves that did not change his Racial name and feed off demonic creatures. Nick'Thalas trained as a Druid in Quel'Thalas and in the Eastern Kingdoms, then he moved to Kalimdor. He can shapeshift into a High Elven horse, Moonkin, Bear, a keeper of the grove ( half High Elf and half stag ), High Elven cat form and finally a Dragonhawk. Nick'Thalas is named after, Spring and Kingdom ( From Quel'Thalas meaning High Kingdom ) in Thalassian. Nick'Thalas can speak Thalassian, Darnassian and Taurahe. he has also been exposed to Common.
Nick Thalas also befriended Nairb while training as an apprentice for Sylvannas Windrunner to become a High Elven Ranger.
Like All High Elves when they are born, they have Blue eyes. Nick'Thalas was also born with blue eyes. now he is older and practices the Druid Arts, his eyes have changed to green because of the mixture of his original eyes and the druid colour eyes he has now. He is usually thought to be a Blood Elf.
The Dawnsprings Edit
When the Highborne migrated to the Eastern Kingdoms, many High Elves had taken up the Arcane practices and trained as an Arcane Mages. A Highborne, by the name of Leonard'Thos Dawnspring practiced Druidism with the ancient Night Elves in the ancestral lands of Kalimdor, after The Burning Legion. Leonard'Thos was one of the remaining Highborne with the ability to transform into the Druid creatures and use the Druid spells in Balance, Feral and Restoration. Leonard'Thos was put incharge of many Rangers and taught them the way of the Druid and the Ranger once entering Lorderon.This spread the Druid religon through out many rangers. but now it is lost.
Druidism runs through all the Dawnspring's blood. This does not mean All the Dawnsprings become Druids. Many have bacame Mages and practiced in the Arcane arts. the Druidism is said to be lost in ALL High Elves, until a young High Elf was born with the name Nick'Thalas Dawnspring and took up practicing the Druid arts.
Birth of Nick'Thalas Dawnspring Edit
on the 18th of April a single mother jaquiline had died giving birth to her first son, she said she would call her newly born son Nick'Thalas. He never new his father. Nick'thalas after birth was taken to the orphanage in Silvermoon city ( Now called Ruins of Silvermoon or Falconwing sqaure ).
Nick'Thalas Living and Leaving Quel'thalas Edit
He started attending Falthrien Academy at the age of 4. Nick'Thalas started researching his ancestry when he was 7 years old and discovered he has Druidism Blood running through his veins. he started training once he read on more about his ancestry and left the Academy when he was 9 years old to be an apprentice ranger of Sylvannas Windrunner to further his Druidism techniques and skills. There he met Nairb where they trained together and became very close friends. when Nick'Thalas was 11years old, he planned to ran away because how he was being treated by the other Orphans and Orphan teachers which were mages and treated Nick'Thalas badly because he trained as a Druid. his aim was to leave Quel'thalas. and find his father he never knew. He told Nairb not to tell anyone or to follow him past the edge of Quel'Thalas. Nairb walked with Nick'Thalas to the edge of Quel'thalas leading to the human lands. there, the two departed and Nick'thalas used his very first Druid form, the High Elven Horse.
A Different race looking similar Edit
Nick'Thalas traveled south in his High Elven horse form to Lordaeron, run past human farms and ranches. he was amazed with their culture. He had heard of Humans and seen a couple in Silvermoon city but never saw one close up.
Nick'Thalas soon came across The Kingdom Of Lordaeron. hey say the gates opening and he chose to walk straight up to a couple of humans too see them close up(not knowing these Humans are Royal Guards). the humans just started and looked at the mystical horse while he checked them out. the Humans then grabbed him and called more solders to help. Nick'Thalas being only 11years old at the time at no chance against the 20year old+ Humans.
The guards took Nick'Thalas to King Terenas Menethil II of Lordaeron because High Elven horses are Rare even in Quel'thalas and the two guards thought it would be good to get a promotion. King Terenas stood up from his Throne and was about to pat the Elven Horse until Nick'Thalas shapeshifted back to his normal form. everyone was amazed. they had never seen this type of magic before except from Medivh shapeshifting from his Crow Form. And also they where amazed that a young child could train as a Druid.
Nick'Thalas was scared he could not understand what the people where saying to each other. soon then a hooded human figure entered the room and started speaking Thalassian. he removed his hood and he told Nick'Thalas in thalasian he is a Half Elf named Jack Brightbreeze. he also noted that his father is Human and his mother is High Elven. the Half Elf then was given permission to take care of Nick'Thalas.
While taking care of Nick'Thalas, Jack had got him to teach him in the way of the Druid. Nick'thalas taught Jack the spells and skills in return for sword training and wearing mail and plate Armour. Once jack had learnt the spells, he went back to the community and pretended to be a prophet and showed the Humans the druid Arts. Young Nick'Thalas was outraged. he then followed jack when he was doinghis "Acts". then Nick'Thalas jumped out and shapeshifted to Dragonhawk, this scared Jack and the People worshipped Nick'Thalas. He told the people he isn't a Prophet and it is the Arts of the Druid. Jack was then taken to the prison. Nick'Thalas then fled out of Lordaeron using his newly shapeshift forn the Dragonhawk to fly. Nick'Thalas flew over Silverpine Forest then to the Great see to explore the hidden lands of Kalimdor from his research and to look for his father.
Night Elven Explorers Edit
While Flying Nick'thalas became tired and looked for a place to rest, not an island in sight. he was then flying lower and lower to the ocean and soon was in his normal form and was swimming instead of flying. his eyesight became poor and he could see a Pour Black ship about to go past him. it stopped. Purple figured elves jumped into the water and transformed into Sealions and put Nick'Thalas on their back and got other purple figured elves to drag him up.
Nick'Thalas woke up and he was in a small cage under deck, The Night Elves Thinking he was a Highbone or a human. he could see the purple elves. the Purple elves were talking in darnassian the ancient language of the High Elves. it was similar to thalassin so nick could understand a good amount of the words. He asked the unusual elves what they were, they replied in darnassian Kal'dorei meaning Night Elves. the night elves fed Nick'thalas small amounts of Bread and water. Nick'Thalas was starved. he then made a small apple tree on the bottom of the cage and picked the apples and ate them. The Night Elves watching were amazed and quickly reported to the captain of the ship about the young High Elf using the Arts of Druidism. the captain was sailing towards the unexplored lands(they thought the lands where Terra Nullius) of the Eastern Kingdoms. once he found out about the child, he had to look for him self. he told Nick'Thalas to shapeshift, so Nick'Thalas shapeshifted into his High Elven Horse form. the captain was amazed, he then turned the ship around and ordered the ship to be sent to Auberdine then Darnassus. they kept Nick'Thalas locked up just in case he tried to jump off the boat.
Nick'Thalas in the HighBorne ancestry lands Edit
The Nigh Elven ship finally arrived at Auberdine, which the Nigh Elves had to stop at to drop off Nick'Thalas to a bigger, more comfortable ship. the Nigh Elven Sentry held Nick'Thalas firmly and put him into the new ship's captain's cabin. they locked the doors and guarded the doors until they arrived at Teldrassil, Darnassus.
Nick'Thals was surrounded by all the more beautiful food and furniture. the hospitality was extremely excellent. Nick'Thalas was confused, first he was a prisoner now he is a god to them? Nick'Thalas had no idea, he just ate all he could and rested up.
The cabin's doors opened and the Sentry guarding the door grabbed Nick'Thalas and then put him into a carriage pulled by Night Elven Tigers. they took him to the mystical, Capital city of the Night Elves, Darnassus.
the carriage then stopped at The Temple Of The Moon. the Sentry once again grabbed Nick'Thalas and showed him to the Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind.the spoke in the foreign language and Nick'Thalas was off again to another part of the city. The Carriage then stopped out the front of a place called the Cenarion Enclave.
the Sentry gave Nick'Thalas to two Strong Druids which they took him to the Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm. He asked Nick'Thalas to show him his Druid powers. Nick showed him his shapeshift and feral combat, his Balance spells and Restoration spells. Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm was astonished. he couldn't believe this power was coming from a mere Highborne child.
Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm then asked about Nick'Thalas' family and his life. As Nick'Thalas having no mother since she died giving birth to him and his father he never knew, Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm wished to adopt him as his adopted son and for Nick'Thalas to become his apprentice and to learn the history of Druidism and the great Cenarius.
Nick'Thalas stayed and trained with Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm and was his apprentice for more than 14years. He also learned Darnassian but still talked in thalassian.
The Burning Legion's attack on Ashenvale Edit
The Undead Scourge followed by Archimondes's demons traveled to Kalimdor from the Eastern Kingdoms to destroying Nordrassil, the World Tree found on Mt Hyjal. Tyrande Whisperwind and her Night Elven troops had arrange to defend themselves from this envasion. Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm as the strongest Druid on Azeroth, also aided Tyrande Whisperwind.
Cenarius' death angered the Night Elves and is said to have boosted their fury in battle. Tyrande Whisperwind ordered the Sentinels to defend all of northern Kalimdor, while she and a few Priests, Hunters, Warriors and Rouges went with her to open the Emerald Dream and calling her long-time love Malfurion Stormrage. Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm told Nick'Thalas that his training will pay off if he went with the Leader of the Night Elves. Nick'Thalas was the only druid to aid Tyrande and her troops. Nick'thalas used his Dragonhawk form to fly to Tyrande's Troops and then headed off killing the demons and the scourge on their way to the Emerald dream.
They Finally Reached it and awaken Malfurion from his slumber and many more powerful druids. Nick'Thalas was so excited to view the great druid Malfurion. Tyrande introduced him to Malfurion and told him he was a Highborne Druid. soon after Malfurion and Tyrande drove the Legion and its scourge allies back and vanquished them from Ashenvale with the help of nature.
Unified races and meeting the old Edit
Thall's Orcs and Jaina's humans and High Elves and Malfurion's and Tyrande's Night Elves allied in hope to defend Nordrassil. This was the final battle of the Legion's demons and allied scourge. this battle shook the world.
soon the battle was over and the races rejoiced. Nick'Thalas fought along side other High Elves. they new he was a High Elf but why he was using the druidism Arts and not ranger or Mage spells. Many High Elves asked if he could teach them, so Nick'Thalas taught some High Elven Rangers as his ancestor had and also some Night Elven Druids helped as well. Nick'thalas asked the High Elves what they are doing in these land they replied to be safe from the scourge and Prince Arthas the death Knight that ruined the preces lands of Quel'Thalas, the Prince Kael'Thas has also converted the HIgh Elves to Blood Elves which feed off Demonic Creatures. Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm had freed Nick'Thalas from his training. Nick'Thalas was a fully fled Druid now.
After much traing and teaching, Nick'Thalas wanted to travel to Thunderbluff to meet the Arch Druid Hamuul Runetotem which was the leader of the Tauren Druid and then finally travel back to Ashenvale then to Moonglade to get more powerful and then finally head to Quel'Thalas and aid the remaining High Elves not to become Blood Elves.
