Ibbert Shadowgear I, Ibbert's grandfather, has a job building Mechanostriders in a factory in New Gnomeregan. He also enchants and tailors as hobbies. He loves his grandson very much, as Ibbert the Third is the only family he has left. He took care of Ibbert as a child since the attack of Gnomeregan until he decided he wanted to go to the City of Dalaran to train as a Mage. "Grandfather" as everybody calls him, was very sad when Ibbert had to leave. He now lives in Stormwind City's Mage Quarter to train as a mage, since Dalaran is under construction.
