Mech Island is an island allied with the Gnomish Navy near Gelbin Bay. It is an island where the gnomes let some of their Mechanical devices (such as Mechanostriders) roam free. Some Defias inhabited the island, they have been eliminated for the most part. But some of their Harvest golems still exist on the island. The gnomes re-programmed these golems to act friendly with them. Some gnomes stay on the island as watchers, and a few even live there. Some gnomes were affected by the irradiation of Gnomeregan later, and went mad on the island. They now pose a threat.
