During the Second War the orc named Inu was with the vast group of deranged orcs known as the Burning Blade Clan. When Doomhammer released them at the Assault on Blackrock Spire Inu fought as feircly as the other orcs, but during the battle he was knocked unconcious. Hours later he came to underneath the bodies of fallen orcs and humans, having lost his weapon he searched the bodies until he found a twin pair of axes, which he uses to this day. Since Inu's sanity had been fractured long ago he took to wandering about the wilds of Azeroth until he settled in Silverpine Forest. He lived there for a time and during that time he found a young sick wolf. Inu fed the wolf until it became healthy again and after that the wolf followed him where ever he went. Inu named his new companion Ahruon and together they left Silverpine Forest and wandered into the Alterac Mountains. During Thrall's rise to power and the forming of the new Horde, Inu stayed in the wilds. Even during the rampage of the Scourge in the northern kingdoms, Inu remained safe. One day he noticed that the once human town of Tarren Mill was stirring with activity again. He ventured down and noticed that there were orcs amongst creatures he had not seen before. For a number of days he watched strange Bullmen go in and out of the town as well as Trolls, but these Trolls were not like the ones he had fought along with they were taller and had a blue tinge to them. But the most interesting of these creatures where the ones that looked like the walking dead. Inu felt that if the other orcs trusted them then he should to, and finaly he and Ahroun came down and entered the town. Having talked to the orcs there he learned of the fall of the old Horde he once fought for, the rise of the Scourge and the forming of a New Horde. Inu then ventured to the Undercity and went to Orgrimmar from there. Having talked with the Shamans he has slowly begone to regain his sanity through the help of the spirits and has fought for the Horde ever since.

Inu's sanity is fractured at best but since his recent joining of the Horde some Shamans have been able to help him regain some of his mental composure. Some days Inu is a brooding, rude and aggresive orc and others he is friendly and joyful. Only Inu knows why he is like this and he refuses to explain what happened, but those close to him suspect it had something to do with an orc female. Inu can be found usualy talking to himself or Ahruon, who usualy just growls and continues to follow him. In times of battle Inu will mostly run infront of the main force and attack his enemies, which is not the wisest strategy due to the fact he mainly uses a bow. Inu has been known to rush blindly into the fray of melee combat from time to time, some say that he has a death wish but none can argue that at times the only reason a fight was won is because of this unpredicted charge.
