Character Concept Edit

Sir Slade Steele

Slade Steele is a World of Warcraft role-playing persona that was originally created on the Khadgar US PvE server in November of 2004. His persona is based on that of a male human paladin, originating from the world of Azeroth.

Appearance Edit

A middle-aged human of average height, his features show the marks of years of toil and warfare. His hair gone white from the sight of one too many of the unspeakable horrors of the Burning Legion and the Undead Scourge. He rarely wears a helmet, not wishing to miss the look of fear in Arthas' eyes when he sees his doom realized.

Born into a family of blacksmiths living in Lorderon

The return of Arthas to Lorderon marked the end of Slade's peaceful life in the forge. Barely escaping the Scourge with his life,

Barely out of his training as a Paladin, he was called into service at the Alliance's stand against Archimonde.

Thunderfury Edit

Ever seeking a greater weapon to wield against the inevitable clash with Frostmourne, he recovered the Bindings of the Windseeker from the depths of Molten Core. Months of toil, both in the fires of the forge and that of Blackrock Mountain, finally rewarded him with the blade, pried from the hand of its insane former master. Through the years since, it has always hung at his side, never failing him when it is needed most.

• Uther Lightbringer: Slade's mentor upon joining the Silver Hand, his death drives much of Slade's quest for vengeance against Arthas.
• Bolvar Fordragon: Fallen general of Stormwind, his death at the Wrath Gate still haunts Slade's dreams.
• Tirion Fordring: Leader of the Argent Crusade. Slade's current leader in Northrend.
• Arthas/Lich King: Master of the Scourge. After the events of the Third War, Slade pledged himself to the Argent Dawn and subsequently the Argent Crusade's cause of destroying Arthas.
