Jangodin is a human priest. He is from a little village in Alterac, now destroyed by the scourge. At the age of 12, he went to Lordaeron to a school of the Church of the Holy Light. Having finished his education there, he began to study to become a priest, but his studies were interrupted by the invasion of the scourge. Jangodin managed to escape to Hillsbrad Foothills where he was recruited by Garithos' army. He helped healing some soldiers, but he hated Garithos and he eventually escaped when a ship from Kul Tiras came near the coast.
The ship took him to Dustwallow Marsh where Daelin Proudmoore and his forces attacked the Horde. Jangodin was very much sympathetic with Jaina Proudmoore because he felt that all living creatures were blessed by the Light.
After the Battle of Theramore he joined Jaina's forces, but eventually went to Stormwind to finish his education as a priest. Today he is a kind of diplomat for the church, wanting to improve the church's relations to the Argent Dawn and also to the Horde- a reason why many members of the Alliance consider him a traitor.
