In the few moments between the defeat of the Lich King and the crowning of Bolvar Fordragon as the new Lich King, Nigel, Desmond, Alfonso, and Major were able to free their minds from his mind control. In Zul'Drak at the time, Nigel, Desmond, Alfonso, and Major slipped out of Thrym's End and wandered Zul'Drak for a time until they reached the Amphitheater of Anguish. Upon seeing the Amphitheater of Anguish, they decided to form an arena team.
