Manglurr displaying his combat prowess

History Edit

The warrior known as Manglurr was a member of the 'Glurr clan, and one of the most powerful dwarves ever to walk the face of Azeroth. His trusty Spinal Reaper in hand, he would often be seen outside the Gates of Orgrimmar laying waste to dozens of Horde at a time, with his guildmates aiding in his defense. It was widely rumored that when an orc insulted his movie-editing skills he cleaved him in twain. He was one of the founding members of Elite Chaos, a guild on the Bleeding Hollow realm. Unfortunately, Manglurr left World of Warcraft sometime in 2005 for greener pastures. He is survived by his lover Danglurr and their illegitimate love child Spanglurr. He will surely be missed by all.

The Significance of Manglurr's PvP Video Edit

Manglurr was one of the first warriors ever to obtain the Spinal Reaper. At the time, Ragnaros was still a challenge to many guilds, and no one had acquired a Rank 14 weapon as of yet. Manglurr decided to create a PvP video to display the power of a warrior with such a weapon. Nearly overnight the Warrior Class forums on the official Blizzard website were aflame with cries of "nerf warrior" posts. Most people failed to realize that Manglurr had dedicated healers that would ensure his survivability in the world PvP environment. Some loathed the attention that he brought to the Warrior class, blaming him for the possibility that warriors would be nerfed similiar to the Indalamar incident that occured during the WoW Beta. Others praised him for inspiring members of the Warrior class, and many characters with the name "Manglurr" began to appear across the realms. There are currently 42 players with the name "Manglurr" across the US and EU realms[1]. One need only search "Manglurr" on Google to better understand the impact that one dwarf can have.
