Behavior
Jormungand roams the realm of Bronze Dragonflight in search of monsters to slay. Once he has found an appropriate monster, he loiters in the area until the local inhabitants are sufficiently terrified, and then ambushes it and claims the reward. In this way he has built up vast fortunes which he uses to fund his part-time job of trading on the auction house.
The last recorded sighting of Jormungand was somewhere in the Plaguelands, where he was preparing for an assault on the Scarlet Crusade. However many claim to have seen him since, although most of these witnesses have recently died in mysterious circumstances and are therefore not available to give statements.
Languages
Jormungand is known to be fluent in Common and Dwarvish, but can also speak passable Gnomish, Darnassian, Thalassian and Orcish. Where he must converse in other languages he uses a top secret goblin-designed [Mega-Translator Mk XXVII], the schematics of which are known only to him and the creator who is under a vow of silence.
Loyalties
Although officially a member of the Alliance, he will serve anyone who has enough money. He has on occasions served the Forsaken in disrupting the Scourge, and the Scourge in causing chaos among the Forsaken. It is unknown why the Lich King allowed him to remain alive, but one can assume that he is needed for some future purpose. Once he was even sent undercover into the Caverns of Time by the Burning Legion, apparently to make sure the timeline progressed as it should, but in reality to sabotage the efforts of the players. However he was discovered by the Bronze Dragonflight and was forced to flee.
Weaponry
For everyday use Jormungand uses [Serpent Slicer] and [Vorpal Dagger of Agility]. However he also possesses various poisons, a sniper rifle, throwing knives and his most prized possession, [Kil'jaeden's Gladius], which he pinched off the Demon Lord himself. He has never used this in combat and it is unknown to all but himself and his near kin. It is believed that this is one of the reasons for his going into hiding, since Kil'jaeden has sent a significant part of the Burning Legion after him to try and retrieve it.
Suspected Projects
Jormungand is believed to be preparing for a raid on the Black Temple when he reaches level 70 in order to steal [The Skull of Gul'dan] from Illidan Stormrage, and he is also investigating the possibility that the Jeweled Scepter of Sargeras is still in the possession of Ner'zhul after his catastrophic attempt to create portals from Draenor to new worlds. However the two objects he would most like to steal are the twin swords Gorribal and Taeshalach, which are held by Sargeras and Aggramar respectively. If the two are united then Gorshalach, the most powerful weapon in the universe, will be reborn.
