Nerium Narcissus, is a forsaken apothecary, and member of the Royal Apothecary Society.

BiographyEdit

As a member of the Royal Apothecary Society, Nerium saw much of the creation of the Forsaken Blight. After several years of concocting and testing the plague, Nerium eagerly awaited the chance to finally administer it. As the plague finished and word got out that the Society was going to Northrend to unleash it, Nerium quickly voiced his desire to personally spread the plague with his own hands, and was appointed to the position of a Plaguebringer.

Upon arriving in Northrend, the Society suffered a few setbacks with the release of their plague, most notably the attack on Forsaken ships, which caused several containers of the plague to be lost. While some of the Forsaken attempted to reclaim the containers, others set out to build the town of New Agamand, a team Nerium was a part of.

As soon as the construction of the alchemical outpost complete, the Society began running final test to the plague. Soon, the time had come to unleash the plague; and who better to release it upon than their new enemies – the vrykul. A team of Plaguebringers left New Agamand with several plague tanks and headed for the nearest vrykul settlement, Halgrind. It was a prime place to release the Forsaken blight, as the town was situated in a ditch and the surrounding walls of earth would keep the plague in the town. As the plague tanks began releasing the blight, Nerium picked up one of the hand-held sprayers, put on a gas-mask and enthusiastically began spraying down the town.

Unfortunately, the Forsaken blight was designed to effect just about everything except vrykul. While the vrykul of the town became very ill, it didn’t kill them nor did it even turn them into the undead. Word was sent back to New Agamand, and the apothecary’s there quickly began work on a special vrykul-specific strain of the plague. Though while the other apothecary’s researched this, the plaguebringers kept spraying down Halgrind, as the current blight would at the least incapacitate them and prevent them from launching an attack on the Forsaken’s camps. In addition, the plaguebringers, Nerium included, were having too much fun with their new toys.
