BiographyEdit

Sedindia was born about 94 years ago in beautiful Quel'thalas. Growing up, Sedindia was (not surprisingly) a troublesome, trickster of a child. She displayed a natural aptitude for armed combat, which was taken as odd considering she came from a family of arcanists.

When the Scourge came and launched their genocidal campaign on Quel’thalas in the Third War, Sedindia was one of the millions separated from her family. Growing up, sneaking around and playing tricks on other people paid off; any outright confrontation with the undead swarm - much less doing it alone - would have meant certain death. Therefore, quick, silent and unseen maneuvers were required to evade the Scourge forces.

Joining the HordeEdit

Sedindia was originally displeased with her people’s decision to join the Horde. Her primary problem with the decision was not with the orcs, who had viciously attacked her homeland decades ago, nor with the trolls, a race that her people had been at war with for hundreds of years – but the rather with the fact that there was an entire kingdom of undead who held membership with the Horde – a kingdom of creatures whom had very recently nearly drove her race to extinction.

With time, Sedindia became tolerant to the Forsaken. While she still disagreed with joining such monsters, she did take notice of their value – them helping the blood elves in retaking the Ghostlands. However, her people working with the orcs, trolls and undead caused Sedindia to become distanced from Silvermoon. She began taking a much smaller role (from her already small role) in politics to the point of only being involved if it was absolutely necessary. She slowly became detached from the interests of Silvermoon and her people, working solely for herself and towards her goals.

Thief, Mercenary and AssassinEdit

Sedindia acted primarily as an assassin in the protection of Eversong Forest and the reclamation of the Ghostlands. This was a profession that suited her well and enjoyed; she even continued in this line of work in missions abroad. Her skills were good enough that she was eventually noticed by Ravenholdt, a guild of Azeroth’s top assassins. However, as Sedindia was taking part of the lengthy and dangerous initiation process, she began to grow tired of being an assassin. Though she completed the initiation and was ultimately accepted into the Ravenholdt brotherhood, shortly afterwards, Sedindia would find a new calling.

To the SeasEdit

Joining the Horde did have one major positive point however – security. The world of Azeroth is an amazingly dangerous place, especially for a lone adventurer. The Horde, as one of two major powers in the world, has bases and outposts set up all across the world. Because of this, exploring and adventuring was possible for a single person instead of requiring an entire expedition team.

Shortly after leaving Quel’thalas for the first time in her life, Sedindia came upon the port town of Ratchet. There, she looked out onto the sea and became enthralled in its majestic beauty. When The Maiden's Fancy arrived, Sedindia was enamored with the prospect of sailing the high seas. She made sure that she was on the ship when it left port, even though she was not sure where it was even going. Though it took her a little bit to get her sea legs, Sedindia was thrilled with her voyage. The sea, the sails, and the ocean winds – all these things and more made her feel unlike anything she had felt before

As fate would have it, the ship was attacked by pirates on its way to Booty Bay. At first Sedindia was unsure what to do, and even a little scared. Not only had she never thought on a ship before, but outright combat was something that she had never done before. She was quite accustomed to sneaking behind her enemy and killing them before they had time to react, but there was no time to sneak about on the ship.

Luckily, one of the ship’s crewman had noticed her and tossed her a blunderbuss, asking if she knew how to use one. When she told him she didn’t, he gave her a quick crash-course on firearm combat before the pirate’s began to board the Fancy. As the pirates began boarding the ship, the Fancy’s crew opened fire. Sedindia’s first shot ever from a gun struck one of the pirates right between the eyes, killing him instantly. A fluke if there ever was one, Sedindia was unable to make this kind of shot again, and her shots often missed for the rest of the battle.

When the battle finally ended, Sedindia felt exhilarated. She had always gotten a rush during assassinations, but this was a different kind of rush – a rush she wanted more of. Upon arriving at Booty Bay, Sedindia, with the recommendation of several of the Maiden’s Fancy crew, joined the Blackwater Raiders. She got an apartment in Booty Bay and bought more sailor-esque clothing. She returned to Ratchet for a short time, where she bought a pair of shiny new cutlass’s and assisted in putting down the pirate’s along the coast.

After returning to Booty Bay, Sedindia was assigned as a crewman of one of the Bay’s many ships and set out to sea.
