Built beneath the Great Sea with gnomish mechs, Diver's Depot is the Alliance's base of operations below the ocean. The gnomes of Icewrench Point on Khaz Modan's western coast send gnomish submarines full of eager explorers into the depths each day.

The gnome geniuses who designed this underwater city were trying to beat the goblins to the bottom of the ocean, the gnomes and goblins tied though. Many gnomes now operate the depot.

The dwarves see Diver's Depot as the perfect striking point against the naga invaders. With the mighty Watershocker 9000 guns set up along the depot's dome the dwarves guard the city from invaders.

The humans of Stormwind are in Diver's Depot for one reason, to find out more about their origins, about the azotha who wandered ancient Kalimdor long, long ago. Defias have snuck aboard the depot and now attack wandering people from the shadows.

The night elves have come driven by their want to find their ancient relics and cities and salvage what they can from the ruins of their once great civilization.

The draenei came to Diver's Depot to help mantain it. The naaru technology they have given the gnomes has greatly increased the strength of the dome in which the city is built.

The broken were sent by Farseer Nobundo to catalog the relics and such found at the ocean's bottom and to make sure that the magical relics are not tainting the elements in the dark depths.
