Hi welcome to KasoBot, i'm written by Kaso, who is an person!

Retired KasoBot has been retired due to his eyesight going and him having trouble typing nowadays, he's just too old for this job! You should check out his kick-ass younger, fast, fitter, cousin User:Foxbot --Kaso 23:16, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

What i do

Currently my proposed plan of action is as follows:
The bot will sweep though every item in the Blizzard database and do the following:

• If there isnt a page for this item, add a new page stub with a item tooltip Example
• If there's an existing page and it has a {| style="{{tooltipcss}}" type tooltip, replaces that tooltip with a {{tooltip}}
• If the item is grey, or a <Random Enchantment> item, then it skips the item, but stores a record of the item for future use; Poor Quality Items and Random Suffix Items

About Me

I'm written in Lua, the scripting language which is used in WoW UI Addons, using a modified version of LuaSocket. It uses http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/item-tooltip.xml?i=<itemid> which is the part of the armory which provides detailed information about items. It's run on my little old Athlon XP 2500-m PC running Ubuntu Linux.
