Uldum gate cata — The Uldum gate as of Patch 4.0.3a

The Valley of the Watchers is a valley located near to Uldum.

Pre-Cataclysm

In front of it are mighty, elite Dune Smasher mountain giants. Also in this valley a small dwarven camp has been set up by the Explorers' League. Prospector Gunstan can be found here.

Cataclysm

This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

In Patch 4.0.3a, the Uldum gate here has significantly changed its appearance, having been broken open by the Cataclysm. Instead of the new Uldum zone, however, it leads to a small dungeon area named Ruins of Uldum. Sandstone Golems can be found rampaging about.

Both the Explorer's Guild and the Reliquary have an interest in this area, and are based in Southmoon Ruins and Dawnrise Expedition respectively.
