Reality
In reality, the brains... and, well, everything else... behind the WoWWiki user Lilythmageborn and the former World of Warcraft character Lilyth is a 21-year-old female named Monica who is currently an unemployed slackass and spends as much free time as possible doing anything related to Warcraft that is available. When not actually playing the MMO, Monica is chatting with buddies, watching TV, playing some other game (Diablo II, Warcraft III, Age of Empires III), writing (generally Warcraft fanfics), roleplaying (recently the Warcraft RPG), doing art and photography, and thinking of more ways to better kill Alliance noobs. All-in-all a diehard gaming nerd enslaved to Blizzard for its production of enthralling games and story. Monica is proud to admit she owns all but three Warcraft-related books (Of Blood and Honor, Tides of Darkness, and Ghostlands of the Sunwell Trilogy).

Virtual Reality
Created in January of 2005, Lilyth brought her share of joy to the world of Azeroth as an Undead Warlock. Skipping any background, long story short, Lilyth feels the world of Azeroth has lost its usefulness and mystery, and she has left with husband Lich Rufus Mageborn to find a place that presents more of a challenge. Nay, friends, not simply Outland. A completely different world not tied to Azeroth in any way, shape, or form. She will debut again in the highly anticipated MMO Hero's Journey.
What happened?
The reason you won't find Lilyth (or at least not the original Lilyth) on the Elune server is that at some point last year (2006) I grew painfully bored with Warcraft and "the grind" and quit the game, got rid of my account, etc. Well, by got rid of my account, I mean I sold it... but don't let Blizzard know that. For some bizarre reason that I'll never begin to understand, the people who bought my account deleted my characters. I really can't say why someone would delete two level 60 characters with three epic mounts between them... but it's no longer my problem. So, instead of having to recreate Lilyth when I regained interest in the game, she will be created on Hero's Journey. I played her quite frequently "in character" (though it was on a PvE server), and it makes more sense for her to just up and leave than to reappear as a newbie again. In my humble opinion.
The Explorer's League
Not to be confused with the Dwarven Explorer's League, I used to do a lot of exploring of the unfinished areas in World of Warcraft... back when there were any to explore. My husband (who played Lichrufus) and I explored them together, and gave ourselves a mini-guild called The Explorer's League.
