About MeEdit

I am currently in my last year of my Business undergraduate studies. I am working part-time at my University as a Information Technology Security Analyst. My hobbies include fencing, kendo, studying japanese, watching/fansubbing anime, and of course games like WoW and Counter-Strike: Source.

How I started playing WoWEdit

After the complete failure of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, I was looking for the next big game to fill my time. I began intensely following the progress of Age of Conan and joined a PvP guild who looked like they were going to be able to hit it big once Age of Conan came out. Since we were all bored, some suggested that we go play WoW, pound out 70 within a month, and hit all the end game content before March 2008 (when AoC was supposed to come out at the time). I was able to join them in starting to play WoW, but was studying abroad in Japan that semester so I was unable to dedicate as much time as others. A few hit 70 within the 1 month period, several quit between 20-60, and the few who did hit 70 got bored and eventually quit. By November myself and my girlfriend where the only ones left playing. Having spent all the money we did on the game + expansion + 1 year subscription, we continued to plod along and after hitting 70 we began investigating our options regarding raid content.

Current ActivitiesEdit

Currently, I am a proud member of Sacred Coven. We are a casual / raid focus guild. I'm running Kara weekly, have gotten a few Gruuls runs in, and am trying to gear out so that I can move on to higher level end game content. The core raid of the guild is currently focusing on The Eye & SSC.
