A legendary caster staff that begins with the drop of Quintessence of Madness by C'Thun in AQ40. The questline begins with turning in the Quintessence of Madness to an avatar of the Titans. It carries on across the Western Plaguelands where you encounter Chronormu, a member of the Bronze Dragonflight in disguise. Being somewhat of an outsider, she will set you on a new path. The climax of the questline is a raid encounter with Nozdormu, the Dragon Aspect of Time, in the Tanaris Desert. For a while it will make the whole zone a very, very unsafe place to be. He will elude death due, however, the holder of the quest will be able to loot the staff from his "body". The corruption of and madness Nozdormu brought forth by attempt at gaining more power in order to change his own fate and his foolish betrayal of the Pantheon hints at the possibility of a more elaborate story and another confrontation with Nozdormu in the expansion pack, or perhaps earlier than so.
